My mother is visiting with us this weekend. It’s great to spend time with her. On Friday afternoon, we went to the National Sanctuary of Our Sorrowful Mother (“The Grotto”) in Portland. It is a place to escape to beauty, peace, awe, and wonder. Here are some pictures that Sherry and I shot while visiting.

On Friday, May 6, we attended our first Portland Timbers FC soccer game at Jeld-Wen Field. Our seats were in the second row behind the south goal. Great view. Animated crowd. Slightly wet. Amazing fun!
